Author interviewed for popular WW1 Podcast

Rebecca Clarke, author of A Bare Chronicle of Existence - Stories and Letters from  Internment in Norway during WW1, is very excited to announce the release of the recording of her interview with esteemed historian Paul Reed on his podcast, The Old Front Line.  Rebecca and Paul had an interesting discussion about WW1 being fought at sea as well as in the trenches and Rebecca was able to introduce Paul to the story of HMS India and her men.  Paul had previously been unaware of the internment situation in Norway and was fascinated by the stories Rebecca shared from her research and also from the letters written by her grandfather-in-law.   Both Paul and Rebecca agreed that this little told side of WW1 was worthy of a TV series or film with its shipwreck, and prisoners of war and then the added interest of escapees, love stories, men going mad among so many other interesting stories.  The podcast can be listened to on Apple or Spotify podcasts or through The Old Front Line website - https://oldfrontline.co.uk. The podcast is a great introduction to Rebecca's book and its accompanying website and is generating loads of interest.
